Team Building CEOs are they really all they are cracked up to be? If a CEO demands performance then there is turmoil in the organization as employees feel disrespected for their piss poor performance. Because the employee of today figures if they just show up, be pleasant and give it a half-try then that is acceptable, in actuality and reality of the corporation, nothing less than success is acceptable because shareholder's equity is what is important and the bottom line web hosting aspnet profit figures come like clockwork.
All that warm and fuzzy CEO and leadership talk is silly, we need strength of character behind modern day CEOs as the game is played bad credit home equity a much higher pace now. It is a huge mistake for academia to prop up these types of CEOs and dismiss those with strength, as has beens. Of course, one thing I have always noted about academia business professors - they are not leaders of Corporations, or has beens, they are never beens. Thus, one should ask why we allow their advice to shape our public perception of what a business leader really is or is not. If anything we need leaders who are stronger than those in the past, not weaker or limited to only one skill set; team building.
